Aleesha’s mind frizzled. Her and Mason noticed that the strange figure was travelling swiftly through the trees towards them! They suddenly bumped into someone running the opposite way to them. She seemed as terrified as they were. “Its coming!” she yelled “Run!”. She left in a split second and screamed into the darkness. Aleesha could not think. She suddenly stopped. “Aleesha what are you doing?” Mason shrieked. She reached her arm out slowly and stared at the creature coming fast at her. EOTC Day 3 - Sailing

We started off our day with a newspaper boat challenge. We had to make a boat from newspaper. We were marked on appearance, how much weight it could hold and how well we worked as a team.
Here are the finished entries:

And here is the winning boat - it held 500g and we could have got more in.

In the afternoon we went to the local beach and had a go at sailing in Optimist class boats. Most of us were in pairs, whilst some of us took off on our own. Most of got dunked accidentally or were tipped by the instructors!

It wasn't quite Team New Zealand vs Oracle in the America's Cup, but we had a great time!
